General Class - Wednesday Evening
Wednesdays commencing 20th September 2023 and 10th January 2024 7:45 - 9:15
Teacher : Walter Sutherland
Musician : Frank Thomson
Venue: WI Hall, Kirk Brae, Cults
This class attendees will have considerable knowledge and experience of all formations and steps in Scottish Country Dancing. Steps and formations may be taught, but the emphasis of this class is not on technique but on dancing and the social aspects of dancing.
If you have danced for many years (as a child or adult) and would really just like to dance and not study technique - this is the class for you! If you haven't danced for a while, you would maybe prefer our Beginner's class (also on a Wednesday) for maybe a few weeks. And never danced before? The Wednesday Beginner's class is the best one to attend!
We have an accordion as your accompanist and the teacher (as in all classes) is a fully certified Scottish Country Dance Teacher.
The costs are £7 for each class (12 in the first term) , but if you join us and become a member (£30) then it is £5 per class or £55 if you pay for the full term (12 in the second term for £55). If you become a member, you will receive Branch Newsletters, magazines from Headquarters and be part of the local Branch activities.
